H.E.Y. believes no one should have to search hard to find support. We’re building pathways to bring emotional wellness resources directly into the communities we serve.
Where We Are Now
Currently: School-based,
community-minded.
Right now, H.E.Y.’s primary point of outreach is within York City K–8 schools, through our partnership with ReProgram York. By going directly into after-school settings, we reduce every barrier — transportation, time, awareness — that might keep a young person from getting support.
We also believe in warm handoffs — connecting families and youth to other community resources when H.E.Y. alone isn’t enough. We know our community, and we know who else is doing good work here.

Where H.E.Y. is heading
As our capacity grows, we plan to take H.E.Y.’s work beyond school walls — reaching more of York County’s community members where they live and gather.
Community Outreach Workshops
Pop-up and scheduled workshops in community centers, libraries, and neighborhood spaces across York County.
Youth & Young Adult Support Circles
Peer-supported group spaces for older youth and young adults to connect, process, and build resilience together.
Resource Connection & Warm Handoffs
Active referral and connection to partner organizations — so no one leaves H.E.Y. without a next step.
H.E.Y. is mental-health–informed and non-clinical.
We do not diagnose or provide therapy. We provide prevention-oriented skill-building, supportive programming, and connections to community resources.
The Need
York County has limited SEL access. H.E.Y. is here to change that.
York County and surrounding Central Pennsylvania have significant gaps in accessible social-emotional learning resources — especially for low-income youth and families. H.E.Y. was built specifically to address this: bringing support to the people who need it most, removing cost barriers wherever possible so support reaches those who need it.
We serve York City, Dallastown, York Suburban, Red Lion, Central York, and surrounding communities throughout Central Pennsylvania.
